We started Fireside Pine because we believe in the mental health benefits of feeling good in what you wear every day and having that little happy tree on your sleeve, or wherever, to remind you to steal your moments back. That moment of calm when you put on something incredibly soft. We're obsessed with creating that feeling in every piece we offer.

Our Story

We're Eric and Sam – a husband-and-wife team running Fireside Pine from our shop in Meridian, Idaho. We knew firsthand how nature heals the mind. Those moments by the campfire, on the trail, surrounded by trees – they bring a peace that's hard to find anywhere else. We wanted to bring a piece of that feeling into everyday life. It all started with Sam wanting a tattoo of a tree on her arm for that very reminder, instead - we put it on a hoodie. And we also really, really love comfortable clothes.

So we combined both passions. We create ridiculously soft clothing inspired by the outdoors, designed to give you that same sense of comfort and calm, even when you can't make it to the mountains. Every piece starts with one question: "Would we want to wear this all day?" If the answer isn't an immediate yes, we keep looking. Since 2022, we've grown from our garage to a real shop, won Veteran Business Owner of the Year, and donated over $35,000 to veteran nonprofits – helping other veterans find their own peace through outdoor therapy programs. But here's the truth: we're not asking you to buy our clothes just to support veterans. We're asking you to buy them because they make you feel better. The fact that every purchase helps a veteran find peace in nature? That just makes wearing them feel even better.

Husband-and-wife duo Eric and Samantha Stephenson founded their clothing brand Fireside Pine in 2022 on the philosophy that nature gives the freedom to heal. As a veteran-owned and American-made clothing brand that features hoodies, leggings, T-shirts and hats, the designs inspire individuals to recall their experiences in nature and the tranquility those memories bring. “We recognized a gap in the market for exceptionally comfortable, everyday clothing that not only supports mental health but also champions American businesses,” Eric shared. “As a veteran-owned business, we were driven by a commitment to give back to our fellow service members. We saw an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting veteran-focused nonprofits, thereby extending our mission beyond the realm of commerce to contribute positively to the veteran community. This dual focus on enhancing mental health through nature-inspired clothing and supporting veterans reflects the core reasons behind our decision to launch Fireside Pine.”
